Na nohaviciach sa v aktuálnych kolekciách známych návrhárov objavujú najčastejšie vzory ako pruhy, kvety, grafické alebo abstraktné tvary. Vzory bývajú väčšinou jasné a odvážne a často tiež veľmi prepracované. Dizajnéri si dali naozaj záležať. Čo sa týka voľby strihov, je to len na vás. Obľúbené sú totiž ako dlhé a úzke nohavice, ktoré poznáme napríklad v réžii značky Roberto Cavalli alebo Balenciaga, tak i rozšírené nohavice typické pre DKNY alebo Etro. Očaríte tiež šortkami, ktoré sú módnym hitom blížiacej sa sezóny.
Silné postavenie má i „rajtkový“ typ nohavíc, ktoré sú rozšírené na bokoch a smerom ku kolenám sa zužujú, často tiež strih kombinujúci „rajtkový“ a „háremový“ strih. Pri výbere trendových potlačených nohavíc sa zamerajte aj na ľahkosť materiálov, ktorú na jar a v lete veľmi oceníte.
Ak máte dostatok fantázie, nebojte sa kombinovať rôzne vzory. Ak ich farebne dobre zladíte, žiadne módne faux-pas vás nečaká, práve naopak. Potlač vyzerá najlepšie na úzkych nohaviciach alebo džínsoch, v ktorých sa navyše budete cítiť pohodlne. Potlač však môže byť i súčasťou legínsov, napríklad módny návrhár Alexander McQueen vo svojej poslednej kolekcii uviedol skvelé modely legínsov s úžasnými geometrickými vzormi, ktoré sú skutočným vrcholom návrhárskeho umenia. Vyberte si nohavice s potlačou, ktoré vám stopercentne pristanú
Návrhári sa často pri spracovaní nohavíc s potlačou inšpirovali minulými obdobiami, najčastejšie päťdesiatymi alebo osemdesiatymi rokmi. Toto obdobie sa potom premieta nielen do strihov, ale veľakrát i do motívov potlačí a vzorov. Osemdesiate roky sú viditeľné predovšetkým v kolekcii značky TopShop Unique, kde tiež predstavila nohavice s potlačou, majte však na pamäti, že osemdesiate roky nemusia byť trendom i budúcej sezóny, na rozdiel od päťdesiatych, ktorých kúzlo i v súčasnej móde stále pretrváva.

Ak milujete nohavice s vysokým pásom, tiež nebudete mať problém vybrať si tie svoje. Podobné modely je vidieť v kolekciách značiek Luella alebo Matthew Williamson. - Nebojte sa miešať vzory. Originálnymi kombináciami vzorov dostane váš outfit šarm nedbalej elegancie. Navyše vďaka módnym trendom vás takto oblečenú tento rok nikto nezačne považovať za klauna.
- Smelú potlač si môžete dovoliť i vtedy, keď nemáte vyslovene dokonalú postavu. Zvoľte jemnejšiu potlač a širšie uvoľnené strihy nohavíc.
