Prvý deň Bratislavských módnych dní sa konal v špeciálnych priestoroch bratislavského Showroomu
Jaguár. Hlavnou časťou podujatia bolo predovšetkým predstavenie deviatich finalistov súťaže Nové
tváre módnej scény. Avšak okrem toho sa predstavili aj dve dnes už stálica Bratislavských módnych
dní, a tiež slovenskej módnej scény – návrhárka Monika Vontszemuová a zaujímavá osobnosť slovenskej
módy – Rebecca Deák Justh. Ďalším spestrením prvého dňa bolo predstavenie kolekcií multibrandového
butiku Nine Fashion, ktoré doplnili módne kabelky Katie`s bag.

Monika Vontszemuová, Rebecca Deák Justh a Nine Fashion – to sú tri rôzne pohľady na módu. Kým
autorská návrhárska tvorba Moniky Vontszemuovej je ukážkou toho, že slovenský módny dizajn má šancu
obstáť aj medzi svetovou návrhársku tvorbou, Rebecca Deák Justh prezentuje vášeň ženy, ktorá
prepadla móde, a ktorú fascinujú krásne látky a nové módne trendy. Kým Monika Vontszemuová trendy
tvorí, Rebecca Deák Just „nimi žije“ a neodolá si žiadny z nich viac než len ohmatať – sama šije
modely týmito trendmi inšpirované. Do tretice z prvého dňa Bratislavských módnych dní, a tretí
protipól módy, je to, čo nám prinášajú butiky ako Nine fashion. Ten nám umožňuje „ohmatať“ a užiť
si módu prestížnych svetových značiek, akými sú Roberto Cavalli, Joseph Ribkoff, Just Cavalli,
Versace Jeans Couture, Angelo Marani, Airfield, Riani, Roccobarocco a ďalších. Spolu s prezentáciou
nových tvárí slovenskej módnej scény sa tak stal prvý deň Bratislavských módnych dní ukážkou
skutočne rôznych pólov módy. Či to bol zámer organizátorov, alebo len náhoda, neviem. Pravdou je že
nech už ide o „kúzlo nechceného“ alebo „kúzlo chceného“, rozhodne sa podarilo.
